The Civil Engineering Technology program requires the completion of 153 credit hours (not including P/F Physical Exercise courses), which can be completed in 9 semesters or 4.5 academic years. The model layout of the Civil Engineering Technology curriculum, as shown in Table 5.1, presented the recommended schedule from the first semester of the first year till the first semester of the fifth year. It should be noted that summer sessions are only optional, and would not be included in this model layout. The curriculum breaks down the courses into three categories of (1) General Education (GE) courses, (2) Math and Physical/Natural Sciences, and (3) Discipline Specific Content.
